Andhra Pradesh latest news : AP CM Chandrababu said that steps are being taken to recover the brand of Andhra Pradesh which has been damaged in the last five years. He spoke after hoisting the national flag at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada on the occasion of Independence Day.
“We are committed to provide the freedom that people have lost in the last five years. We are creating policies that are useful for people. We started governance with welfare and development as two eyes. We are doing reviews in all departments as a 100 day planning target. We are restoring the departments that were disabled by the previous government.
Historians say that the Telugu soil revolted against British rule before 1857.. It is a vibrant region. Nayandhra, which was formed due to partition, started ruling in a situation where there was no capital. From such a situation, we have taken care of the government. With our experience and people’s cooperation, we have established ourselves in a short period of time. We have improved the standard of living of people with more than 120 welfare schemes. We stood first in Ease of Doing Business. We have attracted the attention of the country by making agreements for investments of Rs.16 lakh crore.
Let’s take Polavaram forward
We are going to govern with specific decisions for the comprehensive development of the state. We are taking steps to achieve 15 percent growth rate with new ideas. By the grace of God, the irrigation projects got water supply in July itself. All the projects on Krishna River are full. We irrigate all areas through efficient water management. We will increase the farmer’s income and make agriculture profitable. Linking of Vamsdhara, Nagavali, Godavari, Krishna and Penna rivers is our government policy. We will take forward the Polavaram which was damaged by the inefficiency of the previous government.
If you create opportunities for the youth, they will achieve miracles. That’s why we started skill calculation. This will ensure better employment opportunities. The previous government pushed the construction sector into a deep crisis. CID will investigate the previous government’s sand robbery. When the coalition government was formed, we took a decision on free sand. We have made it easy to order sand through village and ward secretariats. We will implement it more aggressively.
No one who has done wrong will be spared
Government employees are partners in government. We are giving them salaries only on one date. We have given 6 guarantees with development, welfare, social justice and super six.
