CM Revanth Reddy made a key announcement by increasing ex-gratia to the families of those who died in the floods. A decision has been taken to increase the financial assistance to the families of those who died due to floods from 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs. The CM held a meeting on rains in the command control room on Monday.. Officials should be on alert in areas where heavy rain is predicted. Call centers have been ordered to be set up in the Collectorates. They want to keep the system ready in the command control center.
The authorities were ordered to respond immediately to the damage caused to the public. The officials were told to increase the compensation for the cattle, goats and sheep that died in the floods. A comprehensive report should be given to the center on the flood damage. The CM has written a letter seeking immediate central assistance.
