WhatsApp: The company banned 85 lakh WhatsApp accounts in September. It is remarkable that all of them are Indians. This action was taken due to violation of IT Rules 2021 rules and misuse of WhatsApp. There is no one who does not know WhatsApp, the popular messaging app under Meta. Even small children are using WhatsApp. However, some people are misusing every app that should be used for good in this era. No matter how many times the police officials say about this matter, some people are acting as if their way is their own. The company has also taken strict action to prevent misuse of apps.
In this order, in September, the accounts of 85 lakh Indians were banned. According to the IT Rules 2021, it seems that these actions have been committed for misusing WhatsApp and violating the rules. The company has revealed that 85 lakh accounts have been banned in September alone. Of these, 16, 58,000 accounts have not received any complaints, but it has been clarified that these actions have been taken for violation of IT norms.
WhatsApp is the most used social media app. There are more than 600 million users. WhatsApp is mostly used to send messages, share photos, videos, make calls and video calls, and send any information in seconds. However, strict action has been taken against the users for using this app to give false information. Already in August, 84.58 lakh accounts were banned and in September, 85 lakh accounts were banned.
