Business: Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has launched its ayurveda personal care brand Chandrika in the southern state of Tamil Nadu with a campaign ‘Double benefits through double ayurveda’.
The campaign features a television commercial featuring actor and brand ambassador Keerthy Suresh.
Chandrika says it enhanced its formula even further starting with infusing neem and coconut oil with seven ayurvedic herbs to tailor to the primary benefit that most concerns Tamil Nadu consumers: skin protection.
Elaborating on the launch, S Prasanna Rai, Chief Marketing Officer, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting said, “We are delighted to launch the improved Chandrika soap in Tamil Nadu with a region-specific profile. Our consumers gave top priority to ‘skin protection’, which led to ‘innovation’ with the ‘Double Ayurveda’ pack”.

Chandrika is one of the most popular ayurvedic soap brands in the country and has a major presence in South India.
