Business: French luxury fragrance and home décor brand Diptyque inaugurated its first exclusive brand outlet in India in New Delhi’s premium mall, the Chanakya. It opens with a star-studded event to retail a handpicked selection of perfumes, skincare, scented candles, and home goods.
Influencers and celebrities here in New Delhi gathered for a sampling of its fragrances at the Diptyque boutique, experiencing Parisian aesthetics in India. The store, which marks Diptyque’s debut in South Asia, sports a custom mosaic that reads “Diptyque à Delhi,” according to the Indian Retailer Bureau.

The shop has a green façade and interior design that combines both classic French and Indian elements. Artworks adorn the walls, hand-painted friezes give off a nostalgic feel, and a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
The store is divided into two rooms and features specific locations for scents and brand skincare. The shop is constructed to represent a kind of intimacy during the experience of the visit, giving it the feel of an apartment in Paris.
