Automobile News : Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has launched a motorcycle named ‘Roadster’ in the Indian market.
This is the first motorcycle from this company which currently only sells electric scooters. The price of this motorcycle starts from Rs.74,999. The Roadster is available in three variants. Available as Roadster, Roadster X, Roadster Pro. These again have different sub-variants. It was launched at an event called ‘Sankalp’.
Roadster X
This is an affordable variant of the Roadster series. It has three battery packs. The company has priced the 2.5kWh battery variant at Rs 74,999. The price of the 3.5kWh variant is Rs.85,999, while the price of the 4.5kWh variant is Rs.99,999. The company claims that it has a maximum range of 200 km on a single charge and a top speed of 124 km. 18 inch alloy wheels come with 4.3 inch touchscreen. If you book on the Ola Electric website, the deliveries will start from January next year.
Roadster
The company has fixed the starting price of the Roadster (3.5kWh) at Rs 1.04 lakh. The price of the 4.5kWh battery pack is Rs 1,19,999, while the price of the 6kWh battery pack is Rs 1,39,999. The deliveries of this motorcycle will also start from January. The top speed of this bike is 126 kmph. The company claims that the range will be 151km with the 3.5kWh battery pack, 190km with the 4.5kWh battery and 248km with the 6kWh battery. 6.8 inch TFT LCD touch display.
Roadster Pro
This is the high end variant of the Roadster series. The company claims that the top speed of this bike is 194 kmph. The price of the bike with 9 kWh battery pack is Rs. 1.99 lakh, while the price of the bike with 16 kWh battery pack is Rs. 2.49 lakh. The company said that deliveries of these bikes will start from Diwali 2025. This bike is claimed to be 579 kilometres on a single charge. It has a 10 inch TFT LCD touch display.
