Business: The jewellery retailer Kalyan Jewellers has expanded its presence in the eastern region by opening a new showroom in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The Soubhagya Nagar store was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty. The showroom will house an extensive range of designs from various in-house brands from Kalyan Jewellers.
This is an attempt to strengthen Kalyan’s market base while the strategic play will be an engagement with the festive atmosphere of Diwali.
“The showroom in Bhubaneswar will help to further fortify our position in the market, offering greater convenience and accessibility to our valued customers,” Ramesh Kalyanaraman, executive director, Kalyan Jewellers, said in a statement.

Kalyan Jewellers is based out of Kerala, and currently, it operates more than 275 showrooms across India and the Middle East.
