YCP MLC Sells Six TTD Tickets for ₹65,000

Tirupati: The VIP break darshan tickets of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) were sold to a person named Sai Kumar from Bengaluru at a high price by a YCP representative. YCP got 6 tickets on recommendation letter of MLC. Those six tickets cost Rs. 65 thousand were sold to devotees. A devotee complained to the TTD vigilance wing against the MLC who sold brake darshan tickets at a high price. Vigilance wing officials conducted an inquiry based on the complaint of the devotee. They complained to the police after it was confirmed that the tickets were sold to the devotees at a high price. As a result, the police registered a case against the MLC and two others and started an investigation.

Also, in August, some people from Guntur filed a police complaint against Kuppam MLC Bharat and his PA, saying that they had cheated him by charging two and a half lakhs by saying that they would give tickets for Tomala Seva in Tirumala. They have submitted evidence that they have transferred money online. WhatsApp chats and other evidences were also given.

Bharat who contested against Chandrababu was MLC. Selling tickets through letters of recommendation became a big business during the YCP regime. They tried to continue the same during the TDP regime. He tried to use his letters as an MLC to sell tickets. But as the tickets did not get as expected, those who gave the money complained to the police.
