Animal continues to roar at the box office, having surpassed the entire lifetime collection of Pathaan (543.05 crores). The family action drama now stands as the second-highest lifetime grosser after Jawan. As it concludes its theatrical run, it is on the brink of another significant milestone, aiming for a lifetime collection of 550 crores or more.
With approximately 543 crores accumulated in the first four weeks, the film added an additional 5 crores during the extended four-day weekend. This brings the overall total to 548 crores, leaving just a mere 2 crores needed to breach the coveted 550 crores mark. Even with a 50% drop from Friday and additional 50 lakhs each day from today until Thursday, the film is poised to reach the milestone.
A favorable factor for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is the absence of major releases between now and January 25, ensuring continued screenings. While a substantial portion of the audience has already experienced the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, the film’s ongoing success is less about capacity and more about sustaining audience interest.
