Bollywood stars welcomed the New Year 2024 with immense joy and celebrations. Kareena Kapoor Khan kicked off the year in Switzerland with Saif Ali Khan, Taimur, and Jeh, while Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani embraced the first day of 2024 with skiing adventures. Adding to the festivities, Karan Johar shared a glimpse of his New Year’s celebration with Rani Mukerji and also opened up about a lesson he learned in the past year.
Taking to his Instagram stories on Tuesday morning, Karan Johar posted a selfie with Rani Mukerji. The snapshot captured KJo pouting in an all-black ensemble, while Rani looked stunning in her black outfit, complemented by impeccable eye makeup and red lipstick. The background showcased a vibrant decor adorned with yellow, black, and silver balloons. Karan captioned the picture with Ami Rani 2024.
In the subsequent story, Karan addressed the topic of trolls and shared a valuable lesson he acquired in 2023. He expressed, “My only learning of 2023. Kuch to troll kahenge Trollon ka kaam hai trollna Chodon bekaar ki baaton mein kahi beet na jaaye Insta!” (Some will troll, it’s their job to troll. Ignore pointless talk, don’t waste time on Instagram!)
Karan Johar recently praised the film “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, stating it as the best film of the year. Speaking to Galatta Plus, KJo shared that some people suggested that his film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” served as a vaccine for a film like “Animal” due to their different nature.
Disagreeing, Karan emphasized, “I can’t disagree with you more because I think Animal to me is my best film of the year. It took me a while to reach this statement and a lot of courage because when you’re around people, you fear judgment.” He commended “Animal” for its conviction-based narrative and storytelling.
Currently, Karan Johar is hosting the eighth season of “Koffee With Karan.” He also returned to the director’s chair with the release of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” last year, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
