Andhra Pradesh latest news : The Government of Andhra Pradesh has recently taken a key decision regarding the transfer of teachers. Chandrababu Sarkar, who took a key decision in the matter of transfers of state government employees, cancelled the transfers of teachers who had taken transfer orders before the elections.
AP Education Department has issued orders to this effect. The AP government took this decision after receiving complaints that there were irregularities in the transfer process of teachers.
Allegations of illegal transfers of teachers.. AP government’s decision
State School Education Director V Vijay Ramaraju has issued an order to this effect. In this, it is mentioned that the transfers of teachers and principals in the state from February 2024 to June 2024 will be cancelled. It is known that there have been allegations of illegal transfers of teachers with hasty recommendations before the elections.
There have been large scale allegations that about 917 teachers and ministers were transferred to the areas of their choice on the recommendations of the authorities that the previous government committed illegal transfers. Some teachers unions have also raised concerns to this extent. They demanded an immediate stop to the illegal transfers.
Transfers before elections.. Non-relieved teachers
However, even though orders were given to transfer them hastily before the elections, they were not relieved from their positions and sent to the transferred positions after the Election Code came into force. However, Nara Lokesh, who took over as Education Minister after the defeat of YCP in AP and NDA alliance came to power, focused on illegal transfers.
Chandrababu’s orders to break transfers.. Orders issued
In the process of announcing that the illegal transfers of teachers will be cancelled, CM Chandrababu has recently issued a sensational order stopping the transfers. Director of School Education Department Vijay Ramaraju revealed in the order that they should implement the orders given by the Chief Minister of the state, Chandrababu, RJD and DEO. The order states that all transfers from February to June 2024 will be cancelled.
