Telangana latest news: BRS chief KCR greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the first Ekadashi festival. He said that the festival will be celebrated with fasting initiations and devotional efforts.
On the same occasion, KCR said that Moharram, which is being celebrated today as a pear festival by Hindu Muslims as a symbol of sacrifice, is a symbol of Telangana’s Ganga Jamuna culture. On this occasion, he prayed that the people of the state may live a happy and healthy life. KCR suggested that the state government should work harder to maintain religious harmony.
