Latest news India : Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial custody has been extended once again in the CBI case related to Delhi’s liquor policy.
The Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi has said that Kejriwal’s judicial custody is being extended for another two weeks, i.e. till August 8. As the two-week judicial custody extended on 12th of this month also ended today, the CBI officials produced Kejriwal in the court.
After that, a two-week judicial remand was imposed on June 29. After that, the remand is being extended consecutively. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials arrested Kejriwal on February 19 this year in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Since then the investigation against him is going on. In this order, CBI has arrested Kejriwal who is in Tihar Jail in the same case.
