CM Chandrababu advised that ministers and MLAs should not get bad name by interfering in the free sand policy. After the cabinet meeting, CM Chandrababu discussed political issues with the ministers.
All sand reaches will be available after October. We are also giving permission to boat societies. There are 43 lakh tonnes of sand in the dump yards. One million tonnes of sand is required in the next 3 months. 80 lakh tonnes of sand is brought into the rivers by boat societies. New ministers need to increase awareness from time to time.
Ministers should realize that there is a deficit budget and work. Monthly review should be done on departmental issues. Ministers should explain the situation of their departments to the people. Coordinate with MLAs without conflicts. We are going to Delhi for the benefit of the state. Assembly meetings will be held for five days from 22nd of this month. We are forming a committee with three ministers to implement the crop insurance scheme.
Chandrababu explained that the previous government cheated the farmers by not paying the premium. It is reported that there was a discussion in the cabinet on the rice irregularities of Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy in Kakinada. Father is Chairman of Civil Supplies Corporation, son is MLA and another son is Chairman of Rice Millers Association. It was alleged that these three together recycled the rice and exported it at Rs.43 per kg. Nadendla Manohar said that a comprehensive investigation should be done on this. It was decided to come up with procedures on what to do by the next cabinet meeting.
