Andhra Pradesh latest news : They are Agrigold properties. The government seized them and handed them over to the CID. Those two assets were left unprotected. One is the Atrigold site occupied by the family of former minister Jogi Ramesh. The other is the loss of equipment in the Agrigold Foods and Farms factory in Gannavaram mandal Surampalli.
Even though it has been six months since the complaint was filed against these two, no FIR has been registered. There are criticisms that the case was not registered due to the pressure of elders in the previous government. Currently, the police are thinking back and forth to register cases even after the change of government.
OK with suspensions..
Deputy Tehsildar Vijaykumar, Mandal Surveyor Ramesh and Village Surveyor Dedeepya were suspended by the then Collector Dilli Rao in the case of Agrigold lands occupied by the family of former Minister Jogi Ramesh. Later the investigation was stopped. Although a complaint was lodged in the second town police station last January, no case has been registered so far. It is said that this case has been handed over to Anisha for investigation. In the report of Tehsildar Jahnavireddy, the police kept it aside for six months without registering the FIR, despite the fact that the land was disputed and seized. No action was taken against the sub-registrar who changed the survey number in the name of self-correction and against the police who dropped the case.
No real investigation..
There is no actual case of embezzlement of equipment worth Rs.20 crore. No trial. In 1995, a factory was set up in Surampalli village, Gannavaram mandal, Krishna district under the name of Agrigold Foods and Farms. It is known that the Agrigol company went into various businesses and went bankrupt. It was closed on March 25, 2019. UBI (Union Bank of India) confiscated it and got court permission to auction the assets. It is known that there has been a delay in bidding. Later the factory was locked and a security guard was posted. Machineries, computers, furniture and other valuables were destroyed inside the factory even though the locks were put. This matter has come to the attention of the management of Agrigold. Immediately on September 5, 2023, a written complaint was lodged with the Gannavaram police. Kanaka Rao was the Gannavaram CI. YSRCP leaders believed. The police who received this complaint did not inquire about the theft of the equipment. It is said that no case has been registered as the factory has nothing to do with the owner. Now the police are saying that since the assets are attached by UBI, they have to file a case only if they file a complaint. The clients (victims) of Agrigold complain that they do not understand why the Gannavaram DSP, District SP and the bank officials did not respond even after the material corruption came to light.
Change hands…

Jogi Venkateswara Rao and Jogi Rajiv changed the survey number to 87 and re-registered in the name of self-correction as the survey number was wrongly recorded in their documents. After that these were registered to the relatives of YSRCP Corporator Chaitanya Reddy on survey number 87. Ambapuram is said to have been sold to Alluri Krishnamurthy in Resurvey No. 87 and from there to Avva Venkataseshunarayana. Abva Ventakaseshu Narayana Rao’s family members are partners in Agrigold. 2293.05 yards of land in RS No. 87 has been confiscated by the Home Department through JVO MS No. 133 (dated 17.10.2019) and JVO MS 117 (dated 14.8.2018). Jogi Ramesh’s son bought it in 2022 and sold it in 2023. If such a thing happened, only the lower level employees were suspended and left. Asked the current collector Srijana for an explanation on this and said that an inquiry will be conducted on the role of Tehsildar and other revenue officials. The role of sub-registrar was not really affected. It is said that he got the post of Ibrahipantnam with the support of Jogi Ramesh.
