Telangana latest news : Deputy CM and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka presented the budget in the Legislative Assembly. Minister Sridhar Babu introduced the budget in the legislative council.
In this budget, the government has given high priority to agriculture. In this budget for agriculture sector Rs. 72 thousand 659 crores have been allocated. The total expenditure in the Telangana budget is Rs 2,91,159 crore. The revenue expenditure is Rs 2,20,945 crore. The proposed capital expenditure is Rs 33,487 crore.
723 crore rupees have been allocated in the budget for the gas subsidy scheme.. 2 thousand 418 crore rupees have been allocated for the home heating scheme Panchayati Raj, Rural Development Rs. 29 thousand 816 crores have been allocated.. For the development of Hyderabad city Rs. 10 thousand crores have been allocated. BC Welfare Rs. 9 thousand 200 crores, minority welfare Rs. 3 thousand 3 crores and 2 thousand 418 crores have been allocated for Griha Jyoti scheme.
The highest amount for agriculture sector is Rs. 72 thousand 659 crores have been allocated and high priority has been given to agriculture. Rs 2 lakh loan waiver for farmers announced. Loans under Rs.1 lakh have already been waived off. They said that loans up to Rs.2 lakh will be waived by August 15. Farmers will also be given farmer’s insurance. There is also farmer insurance and crop loss compensation. That is why huge funds have been allocated for agriculture.
From this year, poor laborers will get Rs. 12 thousand will be provided. Allocations have been made in the budget in this regard. Expansion of Metro to Airport Rs. 100 crores, for metro expansion up to ORR Rs. 200 crores, Metro Water Works Rs. 3 thousand 385 crores,
Animal Husbandry Department Rs. 1980 crores, for civil supply Rs. 3 thousand 836 crores have been allocated. While 100 crore rupees have been allocated in the budget for the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Rail, 15 hundred crore rupees have been allocated in the budget for the development of Moosi river front.
