They showed as much progress as possible within a year and a half. But the situation changed when the next government completely side-lined Amaravati. For five years, Amaravati became a forest of wild plants. Now jungle clearance is being done.
The biggest challenge before the government now is to complete the administrative city. There is still a problem of funding to complete the administrative city. Since the center is sure to provide fifteen thousand crores through various organizations, the government is likely to take steps to start the work immediately. Roads, other infrastructure, iconic buildings, accommodation facilities for employees, Amaravati will take shape.
