Heavy rains are likely to occur in AP and Telangana for three days, according to the Meteorological Department . Heavy rains are already falling in two Telugu states due to southwest monsoon.
Meteorological department officials have revealed that there will be heavy rains in Telugu states for five days from today. In addition to the strengthening of southwest monsoon, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states will receive moderate to heavy rains under the influence of low pressure. He said there are chances of rain till July 18.
Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain forecast for AP. The Meteorological Center has said that rains will occur under the influence of southwest monsoon. Amaravati Meteorological Department has issued orange alert for Alluri Sitaramaraj, NTR, Krishna and Eluru districts in the state. A yellow alert has been issued for the rest of the districts. Today and tomorrow there is a possibility of heavy rains in the coastal districts.
Officials are advised to be alert as there is a possibility of heavy rains. It said that gusty winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour. Meteorological department has warned fishermen not to go hunting in the wake of heavy rains.
