Andhra Latest News : CM Chandrababu held a video conference at his residence in Undavalli on heavy rains and floods in AP. Collectors, SPs and higher officials of 8 districts participated in this.
On this occasion, CM Chandrababu inquired about the situation in the districts. He ordered to ensure that there is no loss of life or property. There should be continuous monitoring of flows in ponds and streams.
He said that Godavari embankments have been weakened due to the illegal mining of sand and soil in the past. Irrigation and revenue departments should work in coordination. It is said that efficiency emerges only when disasters occur. Chandrababu suggested that the officers should be fully alert and work dynamically.
