We will clean up the excise department
Money was brought from other departments of the government and invested in the excise department. Due to this, the respective departments suffered a loss of around Rs.250 crores. Excise department should be completely cleaned. It is necessary to bring proper policies and ensure that alcohol is available to the poor at an affordable price and also establish de-addiction centers. Legislators should give suggestions and instructions on how to clean. Only if the wrongdoers are punished severely, the wrongdoing will not happen again. Chandrababu suggested that all the ministers should uncover the irregularities in their departments.
