Telugu Movie News : Niharika Konidela‘s debut venture as a producer, Committee Kurrollu, has turned out to be a major box office success since its release on August 9. The film has not only captured the audience’s attention but has also maintained its momentum, entering its third week with strong collections—a significant achievement for a film of its scale and budget.
The latest reports indicate that Committee Kurrollu has grossed an impressive Rs. 15.60 crore worldwide. Due to its growing popularity, the makers have decided to increase the number of screens in both Telugu states, surpassing the film’s second-week reach. Trade analysts are confident that the film is on track to join the Rs. 20 crore club by the end of its theatrical run.
Directed by first-time filmmaker Yadhu Vamsi, the film features a fresh cast that has resonated well with the audience. The blend of nostalgic moments and a powerful social message has particularly struck a chord with younger viewers. The film is co-produced by Jayalakshmi Adapaka under the SRD Studios banner, with Anudeep Dev providing the musical score.
