Fans of Kamal Haasan and director Shankar Shanmugam eagerly await the release of their highly anticipated project, Indian 2. Initial rumors suggested a June 13th, 2024 release date, but recent social media buzz indicates a postponement.
Reportedly, post-production delays are the culprit behind the shift. To avoid conflicting with the theatrical run of Kamal Haasan’s other upcoming Telugu film, Kalki 2898 AD (scheduled for June 27th, 2024), Indian 2‘s release is now tentatively set for July 18th, 2024. However, an official confirmation from the production team is still pending.
The action-thriller boasts an impressive cast alongside Kamal Haasan, including Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Samuthirakani. Lyca Productions, in collaboration with Red Giant Movies, is behind the production, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
