Naga Chaitanya, fresh from his OTT debut with Dhootha, is now working on one of the biggest projects of his career, Thandel. This film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and featuring Sai Pallavi as his love interest, is based on real-life events.
Producer Bunny Vas recently shared that the budget for Thandel is a significant 75 crores, making it the most expensive film of Chaitanya’s career so far. The film has already earned 40 crores from digital rights. If successful, Thandel could greatly boost Naga Chaitanya’s popularity.
In the film, Chaitanya plays a fisherman and underwent extensive training to perfect his role. Thandel combines elements of romance and patriotism, and is being presented by the well-known producer Allu Arvind. The music for the film is being composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad.
