The Telugu movie industry always wants new leading ladies. When an actress gets popular or works with a big star other directors try to get her for their new films.
Right now, two new actresses are super popular. Janhvi Kapoor, whose mom was the famous Bollywood actress Sridevi, and Bhagyasree Borse, who worked with Mr. Bachchan, have both signed up for two new movies each. The funny thing is, their first films haven’t even come out yet!
Janhvi Kapoor has acted in a few Bollywood movies, but she hasn’t scored a big hit in Hindi yet. Koratala Siva is bringing her into Telugu cinema with the much-awaited movie “Devara,” which stars NTR. Janhvi’s fan following in Telugu cinema is growing, and she’s said to have signed up for two more Telugu films. One is with Ram Charan directed by Buchi Babu Sana (RC16), and the other puts her opposite Nani in #Nani33.
Bhagyasree Borse has caught people’s eye with just a quick look from a song. She looks to have taken Sreeleela’s place in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie with “Jersey” director Gowtham Tinnanuri. Her next film is rumored to be with Dulquer Salmaan in his new Telugu project.
We’ll have to wait and see if Janhvi Kapoor and Bhagyasree Borse will climb to the top spots as actresses in Telugu movies.
