Priyadarshi, the guy who makes people crack up, is now the main dude in a new rom-com called “Darling.” Aswin Raam’s in charge of directing it, and PrimeShow Entertainment’s forking over the cash to make it happen.
Priyadarshi thinks we’re in a time where movies with good stories are taking off. People are into new ideas and creative stuff now. He points to movies like “Mallesham,” “Balagam,” and “Save the Tigers” to show that family stories always click with Indian viewers. As an actor, he gets a kick out of playing parts that people can relate to. He also sees it as a chance to learn new things.
“Darling” tackles split personality disorder in a fresh and fun way. Priyadarshi thinks the clash between two people dealing with this issue makes people laugh and keeps them hooked showing how dark comedy can be cool.
Priyadarshi also feels pretty sure that director Aswin Raam has what it takes to become a big name in the movie business.
