The controversial reception of Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Animal” on Netflix has stirred considerable debate, with some labeling it as misogynistic. However, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is unabashedly responding to the critics.
In an interesting turn of events, the blockbuster is now available for streaming in English on Netflix, in addition to its existing availability in multiple Indian languages. The film has already been achieving record-breaking viewership on the OTT platform, and the introduction of the English version adds another layer of appeal.
Featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Bobby Deol as the antagonist, “Animal” also stars Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Saloni Batra, Siddhant Karnick, Charu Shankar, Babloo Prithveeraj, and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles. The background score is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
