Movie News : The sensational Tamil actor-director pair of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran also electrified the industry with their release in the year 2018 titled Vada Chennai a crime drama. With a total production cost of about ₹60 crore, the film remained Dhanush’s biggest commercial success up until the time of its release and is considered a cult film.
The sequel was originally supposed to be a two-part series where both Dhanush and Vetrimaaran had confirmed their participation in the second part. However, there are now rumors concerning the major cast and crew members of Vada Chennai 2 that have changed significantly. To add more confusion to the existing speculations, the latest buzz states that Dhanush will not be a part of the sequel and that the director of the movie will be Karthikeyan, the assistant director of Vetrimaaran. Still, the Vetrimaaran’s production house will support this project. It is noted that an official announcement is expected shortly as soon as the project’s cast is approved. The first part also had several famous actors such as Andrea Jeremiah, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ameer, and was produced by Dhanush, Vetrimaaran, Subaskaran of Lyca Productions.
