ACME Cleantech to spearhead renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh will soon have a new project—a renewable energy supply facility that will operate around the clock, built by ACME Cleantech, a company specializing in renewable energy solutions.

ACME Cleantech won a big contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to construct this facility in Andhra Pradesh. For this project, they have obtained a loan of Rs. 5600 crores from Power Finance Corporation, which has a 17-year repayment period.

The project’s objective is to build 1.2 gigawatts of hybrid renewable energy systems that combine solar and wind power with battery storage technology. A portion of the tender was also won by ReNew Power, Hero Future Energies, and Amp Energy. ACME Cleantech obtained 380 megawatts, while ReNew Power will construct 600 megawatts.

However, the completion deadline for this project has not been announced yet.
