Quite expectedly, the BJP emerged as a star performer in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections, having contested as part of the NDA alliance along with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by Chandrababu Naidu.The conflicts currently in the state are between YSRCP on one side, INDIA formed by Congress on an end and with the NDA alliance joining forces with TDP and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party.

As it is the NDA alliance are seen to be achieving great results with leads in over 145 of the 175 assembly seats and getting 19 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats.The YSRCP is trailing, leading only in 24 Assembly and 5 Lok Sabha constituencies, which has been demanding night-time: 17. Second List the YSRCP, which is trailing, has leads only in 24 Assembly and 5 Lok Sabha constituencies.

An important contest is being observed in the Kuppam constituency, for now N Chandrababu Naidu keeps leading by a mere margin.This contest has indeed attracted the attention of the public as well as the analysts of the political system mainly due to high stakes in Andhra Pradesh’s political arena characterized by cut throat competitions and strategic behaviors.

Greater drama was in Pithapuram, in which the popular actor-politician K. Pawan Kalyan of newly floated JSP is leading and enthusiastic his supporters more by indicating that there is a change in the state political map.That is all for this update, but more live coverage is still coming as the vote counting continues and details of the remaining future of Andhra Pradesh politics come into focus.
