Government Initiates Health Plan Following Hajj Deaths

during this year Hajj the pilgrimage, 98 Indians passed away naturally, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,081 across ten nations. The journey coincided with scorching Saudi summertime the temperatures, that reached its peak at 51.8 degrees Celsius.

In response to such events, the Ministry of Health has proposed a comprehensive plan to improve health care for potential pilgrims. Gesundheit tests, health certificates, vaccine distribution for indicated vaccination settlements, and the setting up of medical computers are just a few of the measures being taken.

Although these measures are intended to avoid similar catastrophes, that summer scorching sun has been catastrophic especially in the north and central parts of India, where temperatures above 50°C have resulted in heatstroke deaths and raised fire incidents, leading to human beings and infrastructure expenses.

It is crucial for the government and society to collaborate in addressing climate change, as unchecked global warming could worsen these challenges in the future.
