One spectator was killed and two others were seriously injured in the attack on Trump. Authorities have identified the man who shot Trump as Thomas Matthew Crooks. He was killed in a firing by a Secret Service team.

But I know the whole world is watching. History will decide this. I also have a responsibility to let people know that I’m fine,” he told the Washington Examiner.
Trump said, “I have an opportunity to bring the country together.”
He spoke as he prepared to board a plane to attend the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trump is expected to be announced as the US presidential candidate on behalf of the Republican Party in this convention itself.
