Election 2024: Chandrababu Naidu Leads Early in Kuppam Vote Count

In Amaravati, the process of vote counting has begun for 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. The first part of them deals with postal ballots which are followed by other phases that seem to promise a closely fought contest.

The leading candidate in the race for chief ministership of Andhra Pradesh from TDP, Chandrababu Naidu has started polling ahead of his competitors in Kuppam, thereby revealing a great deal about the TDP’s position in this segment. Similarly in another significant news in the latest round TDP candidate and former minister Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary has taken a lead in Rajahmundry Rural by 910 votes and making position stronger.

As the votes are counted, the TDP alliance is leading in two segment out of the total 175 assembly segments. This may prove to be a good outing for TDP in this General Election, as for YSRCP and other parties, they are yet to open their accounts in this counting process. It is a common tendency that the leads or early trends reported in favour of TDP candidates could determine the rest of the scenario also. While the process continues, everyone keeps their focus on the changing numbers and the final verdict which will determine the political situation in the state in the long run.
