Meanwhile, the TDP high command delivered an unexpected blow to Kesineni Nani, explicitly stating that he would not be granted an MP ticket from Vijayawada. The announcement implies that the Vijayawada MP ticket is earmarked for another candidate. Taking to social media, Nani disclosed that he had been advised to abstain from participating in party programs. In a gesture of compliance with Chandrababu’s proposal, he formally withdrew from the electoral race.
Subsequently, Kesineni Nani declared his decision to sever ties with the party altogether.
