Recent election-related violence in Palnadu district prompted the Election Commission to enact Section 144, limiting gatherings to three people. District Administrator Sivashankar directed the police to enforce this measure in Vinukonda, Sattenapalli, Pedakurapadu, Macharla, and Gurajala constituencies, including the Narasa Raopet Lok Sabha seat.
The restriction, effective from 6 pm on Tuesday, remains until further notice. Any gatherings exceeding the limit face strict penalties. This move aims to curb further violence and ensure the safety of citizens. The police advise compliance with these regulations to maintain peace and order in the affected areas.
