On June 11, 2024, a Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh experienced a milestone. Members of the political party Jana Sena Party (JSP) convened to select their representative for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. This was carried out prior to another meeting where the leader of the TDP, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and other members of the NDA group would select their leader for the Assembly.

A member named N. Manohar suggested that Pawan Kalyan should be the leader for JSP in the Assembly. Everyone in the party agreed with this idea.

JSP has 21 members in the Assembly, which is a good number out of the total 175 members.

In the most recent election, the NDA coalition—which consists of the BJP, TDP, and JSP—won the majority of seats. They received a whopping 164 seats in the Assembly. This implies that people have faith in them to govern the state effectively.

The Jana Sena Party’s action is noteworthy because it shows how they worked with other political parties to seize power in the state. It also shows their commitment to doing the best job possible at representing the people of Andhra Pradesh.
