However the ruling YSRCP has voiced its opposition to this regulation. They’ve taken the matter to the Andhra Pradesh High Court challenging the guidelines regarding postal ballots.

In a lunch motion petition the YSRCP has argued that the directive issued by CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena instructing not to reject votes lacking the RO’s seal on the ballot is inappropriate. The High Court has agreed to give critical consideration to this solicitation.
