YSRCP Third List: As anticipated, the President of the YSR Congress Party and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, orchestrated a significant reshuffle of candidates in the Lok Sabha and assembly constituencies, unveiling the third list featuring 21 candidates.
In a strategic move, Jagan Mohan Reddy implemented six changes in the lineup of candidates for the Lok Sabha constituencies. Perada Tilak, who previously contested in the assembly elections from Tekkali against Telugu Desam Party candidate K Atchannaidu in 2019, will now represent Srikakulam against Atchannaidu’s nephew, K Rammohan Naidu.
In alignment with predictions, former Vizianagaram MP Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, the wife of State Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Visakhapatnam, replacing M V V Satyanarayana, who has been fielded for the assembly elections.
For the Eluru Lok Sabha seat, Jagan Mohan Reddy has nominated a relatively new entrant, Karumuri Sunil Kumar Yadav. Additionally, Kesineni Nani has been selected as the YSRCP candidate for the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat, while State Minister Gummaluru Jayaram will be the party’s representative from Kurnool.
