BJP chief Purandeshwari appointed in a key post..

Andhra Pradesh state BJP chief and Member of Parliament Daggubati Purandeshwari got a key post. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha made a statement to this effect.

Andhra Pradesh State BJP Chief and Member of Parliament Daggubati Purandeshwari has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Women’s Parliamentary Steering Committee.

Purandheswari has been nominated as a member of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentary Steering Committee as the representative of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India region. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla gave orders to this effect.

The appointment of Andhra Pradesh State BJP Chief and Member of Parliament Daggubati Purandeshwari will be applicable till the end of 2026. Om Birla said in the order that she will also act as the chairperson of the Steering Committee of Women Parliamentarians.
