According to the police, a local resident named Devaraj made a diamond necklace worth Rs 5 lakh for his daughter’s wedding. Recently, while disposing of the garbage, the diamond necklace in her hand was thrown into the garbage can. Realizing the matter late, the family members approached the Chennai Corporation.
