Latest News in India: In what can be called a big move ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced an announcement of a new financial assistance scheme for students and fresh graduates. This declaration was made today for Ashadhi Ekadashi in Pandharpur.
Under this scheme, Pass students of the 12th will avail a stipend of Rs 6,000 per month. The students doing their diplomas will avail Rs. 8,000 per month. Graduates will avail the most amount, that is, Rs. 10,000 per month. Young students at different levels of education will avowedly need this monetary help so that they witness better employment prospects and make a smooth transition from their studies into the job market.
This indicates that it will be one of the bio-strategic moves the Maharashtra government is pushing for against financial challenges for both students and graduates. The scheme aims to reduce some of the financial loads students bear about education and early career development so they can engage in studies and professional growth.
