Recently, Smriti Irani was defeated in the Lok Sabha elections in Amethi by Rahul Gandhi. His supporter, Kishori Lal Sharma, is leading by a margin of 1.5 lakh votes.
On Friday, Mr. Rahul Gandhi made an appeal for his supporters not to use foul language against former union minister Smriti Irani.
He tweeted, “Winning and losing happens in life. I urge everyone to refrain from using derogatory language and being nasty towards Smt. Smriti Irani or any other leader for that matter. Humiliating and insulting people is a sign of weakness, not strength.”.
