Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath clarified the reason for the BJP’s disappointment in the Lok Sabha election results in UP. The CM of the BJP Executive Committee held in Lucknow said that excessive self-confidence was the reason for the defeat in many places.
Political pundits say that if he wins in Uttar Pradesh, he will reach the Delhi seat. In the recently held Lok Sabha election, BJP has suffered a setback in Uttar Pradesh. The results of the 2024 elections came out undermining the party’s performance and the achievements that were put out in 2014 and 2019. The BJP alliance was restricted to only 36 seats of the total 80 in UP, with the Samajwadi Party winning 37 and emerging as the single largest party. As the results left BJP disappointed, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “This explains it clearly. According to the CM, BJP Executive Committee held in Lucknow, excessive self-confidence was the reason for defeat in many places. It is advised that that situation should not be repeated in the future.
