A terrible accident took place at Unnao in Uttar Pradesh . A double decker bus collided with another vehicle. 18 people lost their lives in this incident. 19 others were injured. The injured were taken to the nearest hospital. The police said that three women and one child were killed in the accident.
A double-decker bus was traveling from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway on Wednesday morning when it rammed into a milk tanker from behind, police said. The UP CMO said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed shock over the incident and ordered the officials to provide proper treatment to the injured. The dead bodies were taken to the local government hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
The accident happened at 5.15 am. Locals said that bodies were lying scattered near the incident site. It seems that the accident took place due to the high speed of the bus. But the police are investigating whether the milk tanker stopped on the road or if the milk tanker was moving slowly and hit the bus at high speed. A few days ago there was a stampede in Uttar Pradesh. It is known that more than a hundred people lost their lives in this incident.
