A young man was bitten seven times by a snake in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur within 40 days, six of them on Saturday. He informed his family that in a recent dream, a snake appeared and conveyed that it would bite him two more times, after which he would not succumb.
His name is Vikas Dubey (24) and he is a resident of Soura village. He was bitten for the first time by a snake on June 2 when he got out of bed. He had been bitten six times by the 6th of this month. He was bitten again at a relative’s house.
Dubey said he always felt the signs of being bitten by a snake three to four hours before the incident. He told authorities that his financial situation had become difficult due to his repeated hospitalizations. Meanwhile, authorities have expressed doubts about Dubey’s repeated snake bites. A committee of three doctors was formed to establish the facts.
