Tomorrow Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will chair a crucial cabinet meeting. On the agenda are discussions regarding the state’s accession day on June 2 pending matters under the AP Reorganization Act, revenue generation, grain procurement, farmer loan waivers, and other significant issues.
Revanth Reddy orders officials to make a detailed report on AP-Telangana issues. Additionally, instructions were issued to take over buildings allotted to AP in Hyderabad post-June 2 and expedite the transfer of employees. Given the recent announcement of farmer loan waivers up to Rs 2 lakh, the cabinet may deliberate on revenue sources to fund this initiative. The government is thinking about setting up a dedicated corporation for this.
