The BCCI said on Sunday it’s gonna help Indian athletes going to the Paris Olympics by giving Rs 8.5 crore to the IOA to support them.
The Paris Games kick off on July 26.
“I’m excited to tell you that the BCCI will back our amazing athletes representing India at the 2024 Paris Olympics. We’re giving INR 8.5 Crores to the IOA for their campaign,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah posted on his X (which used to be Twitter) account.
“To our whole team, we wish you the best. Make India proud! Jai Hind!”
India’s sending 257 people to the Paris Olympics. This includes 117 athletes and 140 folks to help them out. The athletes are gonna compete, while the others are there to support them.
