The Indian cricket squad faces a tough task replacing star players after Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja quit T20Is. Finding new guys for Kohli and Rohit’s spots is hard, but Jadeja‘s spot is even trickier to fill because he’s good with both bat and ball.
Axar Patel might take Jadeja’s place, but Washington Sundar could too. Sundar’s now playing in Zimbabwe, and someone asked him if he’s ready to do Jadeja’s job.
Sundar stated, “Being in the moment and feeling sure about my abilities is key. It’s a huge chance to play for India, and I’m lucky. I gotta keep putting in effort and getting better. If I do that, things will work out.”

These efforts helped India reach a total of 182 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20-over innings.
India had Zimbabwe in trouble at 39/5 as they chased 183 runs. Dion Myers and Clive Madande fought back. They put on a 77-run stand. Myers stayed not out scoring 65 from 49 balls. Madande hit 37 off 26 balls. Their effort breathed new life into Zimbabwe’s innings. But Indian bowlers bounced back. They limited Zimbabwe to 159/6 when the 20 overs ended.
