James Anderson one of England’s best fast bowlers just quit after his last Test match against West Indies at Lord’s. He finished with 704 wickets, the most for any fast bowler ever. Talking to Sky Cricket about saying goodbye, Anderson had mixed feelings.
He talked about the emotional stuff during his final game the nice moments with his family and how the crowd cheered for him. Anderson said he felt proud and lucky to have played for England for more than 20 years. He thinks he lasted so long because he didn’t get hurt much.
But during the party, Anderson said he was bummed about dropping a catch that could’ve gotten him his 705th wicket. Still, he loved all the support and friendship from other players and fans.
