OLYMPICS-1984: Sports lovers are reminded of the dedication and determination shown by a sportsperson to complete the finishing line at the Olympic Marathon. Exactly 40 years ago, on this day, Gabriela Anderson-Schiess of Switzerland finished 37th in the marathon at the 1984 Olympics (Los Angeles). She completed the finishing line despite not having patience. Hats off to her for ignoring the result and rushing towards the goal.
