Olympics: Cuba’s Mijine Lopez, 41, became the first athlete to win five gold medals in a single event at the Olympics. He won a gold medal in the men’s Greco-Roman 130kg event at the Paris Olympics and also won gold medals at the 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2021 Olympics. He announced his retirement after winning the gold medal.
